Batakundi is a small village located in the green belt of Naran Kaghan. Batakundi is a small mountainous town with friendly and kind inhabitants. Batakundi waterfall is a popular tourist destination for tourists and trekkers searching for natural beauty. The water flows from the mountains and then falls into a lake on the other side. Ansoo Lake

Sambaksar Lake
Sambaksar Lake, known as the “rocky wall lake,” is frozen for half the year, offering a mesmerizing view with clear water during the remaining months. Accessible with a 20-minute walk, it stands at 13,700 feet above sea level in Naran Kaghan, ranking among the stunning lakes. The lake gets its name from the surrounding stone wall and freezes from late July to September. Located in the Upper Kaghan Valley, it’s easily reached from Basel, beyond Naran. Larger than Dharam SAR Lake, Sambak SAR Lake remains icy into August or September. Travelers can capture the beauty of these natural wonders, showcasing Pakistan’s incredible landscapes.
Gittidas Meadows
Gittidas Meadow, nestled in the Himalayan Mountains of Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty. This place offers a beautiful view of surrounding mountains, valleys and glaciers that stretches as far as an eye can see. Cherry on top is witnessing the sunset and sunrise that is really an unforgettable experience. Noori top is a high mountain pass at an altitude of 3,949m above sea level. In order to reach Noori top, you will have to undertake Naran where you will experience the drive that is a treat to eyes, passing through beautiful villages, green meadows, and dense forests is a mesmerizing view one can experience. However, the trek is quite difficult as it is completely unpaved and narrowed. It is located high up the lulusar Dudipatsar National Park that embarks the thrilling drive to the destination.
Jalkhand Town
Jalkhand is a town located near Batakundi in Mansehra District of Hazara which is about 55 kilometers north of Naran. Traveling from Naran to Chillas, about 30 kilometers there comes a small village known as Jalkhand. Its road has been recently built and it has a mesmerizing and scenic view that is like stepping into a painting come to life. This town lies 3,140 meters above sea level. The round lake or bowl-like shape Lake of Naran known as Pyala Lake is also located in Jalkhand. The hotels in the area provide the best quality food that offer special Pashtun Cuisine, any type of fast food is also available. In summers, it is an ideal place for camping for tourists as the serene view makes it a perfect spot to set up a camp and immerse yourself in nature.
Dudipatsar Lake
Dudipatsar Lake, also known as Dudipat Lake, is a stunning blue-green lake cradled among majestic snow-capped peaks in the Lulusar Dudipatsar Lake National Park. Located at an altitude of 3,800 meters in the northern end of Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the lake’s color shifts to turquoise, reflecting the day’s hues, and it remains strikingly cold. The road access is limited to cars and jeeps due to the challenging initial four-hour journey, rewarding adventurers with incredible views. The hike takes 5-8 hours, offering three options: a one-day trek for a 3-5 hour visit, a two-day trek with a stay at Mulla ki Basti or camping at the lake (6-10 hours), and a three-day trek for a more leisurely exploration. Dudipatsar Lake is a fairytale-like destination that will leave you speechless.
Sat Sari Mala Lake
Sat Sari Mala lakes is a group of crystal clear seven alpine lakes that is a true gem of nature. We can witness the beauty of nature and explore the majestic mountains and glacial lakes. The lake is located at the altitude of 3000 meters above sea level. These seven lakes in Kaghan are truly a sight to behold as each lake has its own special charm and what makes them even more beautiful is that they are interconnected and they are surrounded by glaciers resulting in clean water. Six of these lakes are located closer to each other whereas, the seventh one that is known as Surkhail Lake is located at a bit of a distance from the sixth lake. In order to reach this lake, you must trek from Naran valley, which requires stamina. This lake has a wide range of outdoor activities that include hiking, camping under the stars, and fishing. You can reach the lake by starting from Basal and making your way through the forest. It is a perfect escape from busy city life.
